North Korea terms naval blockade as “act of war”, vows action if US enforces it

Seoul: North Korea on Thursday termed naval blockade as “act of war” and warned that it would take action if the United States enforces it.

According to the report published in TOI, citing spokesman of the foreign ministry, North Korea’s KCNA news agency said that naval blockade would be the violation of the sovereignty of the country.

It also said that by taking such steps, Donald Trump, US President is moving towards nuclear war.

“The US or any of its follower enforce the naval blockade against North Korea, it would be considered as an act of war and we will respond to it”, the agency added.
