Do not contest elections in Karnataka, people will reject MIM – MLA Zameer tells Owaisi

Hyderabad: Karnataka MLA, Mr. Zameer Ahmed Khan while sending off the Haj pilgrims of Karnataka appealed to Mr. Asaduddin Owaisi, President of MIM not to contest from Karnataka. Quoting the results of the elections of UP and Maharashtra where MIM contested, Mr. Khan told that if MIM contests from Karnataka, Muslim votes would be divided which will benefit BJP.

He further told that by the emotional speeches of MIM leaders they may get five to six thousand votes which will result in the defeat of secular candidates. They, therefore, should refrain from contesting. The people of Karnataka know very well what MIM leaders have done in Hyderabad. They would reject MIM candidates.

He further told that the leadership of Mr. Siddaramaiah is beneficial to the Muslims. During his tenure, Muslims of the State progressed which will continue in the future also.
