Hyderabad: Leader of opposition in Telangana Legislative Council Mohammed Ali Shabbir said that several leaders in Congress party are in the race to be chief minister, but he is not in the race.
Speaking to media persons after the Iftar party hosted by local Congress leaders in Tandoor, Mohammed Ali Shabbir said he doesn’t aspire for chief minister’s post. He informed that the chief ministerial candidate is selected in the legislature party meeting.
On the basis of the opinion of elected members of the assembly high command will nominate the candidate, he said.
