Palestine: To create new geographic and demographic realities in occupied Jerusalem, Israel is exploiting the international and Arab silence.
Palestinian Minister of Waqf and Religious Affairs Sheikh Yousif Ideis pointed out that more than 95 violations against Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied East Jerusalem and the Ibrahimi Mosque in the occupied West Bank city of Hebron were carried out by the Israeli occupation.
After the US decision to recognise the holy city of Jerusalem as Undivided capital of Israel, it is expected that more Israeli aggressions on Al-Aqsa mosque will take place.
Sheikh Yousif Ideis also said that the Israeli occupation is Judaising Jerusalem by cutting off Palestinian residential neighbourhoods from it.
He also noted that Israel is changing the city through its policy of Judaising “every Islamic and Arabic site”, Israel is changing the city.
Israel is also changing the city by preventing the Palestinians and Arabs from entering Al-Aqsa Mosque or the city of Jerusalem and putting restrictions on the worshippers who enter the mosque. The Israeli settlers also increased their raids on Al-Aqsa Mosque and increased their performance of Talmudic rituals inside its courtyards.
