Numaish: Mahmood Ali inaugurates on January 1

Hyderabad: Mr. Mohammed Mahmood Ali, Home Minister of Telangana State inaugurated 79th All India Industrial Exhibition (Numaish) on 1st January.

On this occasion, he said that Nizam VII of Hyderabad, Nawab Mir Osman Ali Khan had started this exhibition for promoting State industries.

At present, Exhibition Society has been fulfilling its aims by spending 99% of its income on education which has no parallel in the entire country.

He greeted all the citizens of the State and said that this day is very important for the people of Telangana. On this day, Telangana High Court has also come into being.

Mr. Mahmood Ali informed that after the formation of Telangana State, many steps have been taken to benefit people. Parking fees has been done away with. Extraordinary arrangements have been made for the security of the people. He declared that TS is the number one State in the entire country and KCR is the number 1 CM.

He further told that this time, tickets for Metro Rail are also being sold in the exhibition. Facilities like ATM, Health Center, Ambulance etc. are being provided in the exhibition.

Chairman of Exhibition Society, Mr. E. Rajender told that during the reign of Nizam VII, Numaish Society was started to promote domestic industries and also to get the local products at a common platform.

Numaish has been successfully functioning with the cooperation of Osmania Graduates’ Association.

Mr. B.V. Ranga Reddy, Secretary of Exhibition Society presented the report. In his report, he mentioned that 2500 stalls have been erected in the exhibition. He also mentioned that last year, 25 lakh citizens visited the exhibition.
