Nurses beat up doctor over ‘sexual harassment’ in Sindh, video goes viral

Karachi: In an unusual event, nurses at a civil hospital in Pakistans Sindh province have badly beaten up a doctor after accusing him of sexual harassment, a charge denied by the physician who said it was a conspiracy to defame him and get him removed from the hospital.

The nurses at the training center in Mirpurkhas aided by some men staff got hold of Dr. Ramesh Kumar last evening and thrashed him which left him bleeding, police said. “He was rescued by some other doctors who took him away for treatment,” a police officer said. “We have recorded his statement and are investigating the matter,” he said. “The nurses claim he not only tried to sexually harass them but also sent them lewd messages and they could not tolerate it any longer,” he added.
