Odisha: Following intelligence inputs received about Naxal movement in regions of Odisha, security has been beefed up in tri-junction of Angul, Nayagarh and Cuttack rural district.
Odisha cops have started the search in Angul District following inputs received.
“We have received information about the movement of a small group of Maoists in Puranakot, Narasinghpur and Nayagarh district. We are verifying the information” said Odisha DGP Dr. RP Sharma.
He added special teams of one squadron of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and a District Voluntary Force (DVF) unit has now been deployed at the tri-junction, and another squadron of CRPF will soon be deployed to assist the search operations
