Hyderabad: South Central Railway (SCR) has invited applications from interested and qualified candidates under Apprenticeship Act 1961 for fill up vacancies in its various units.
According to the notification, SCR intends to fill up 4, 103 vacant posts of apprentices. These trades include 249 AC Mechanics, 16 Carpenters, 640 Diesel Mechanics, 18 Electrical/Electronic Mechanics, 871 Electricians, 102 Electronic Mechanics, 460 Fitters, 74 Machinists, 24 MMW, 12 MMTM, 40 Painters and 597 welders.
Candidates who have passed X class examination and completed relevant trades are eligible to apply. They should be in the age group of 15-24 years as on 18th June 2018.
The selection will be made according to the marks obtained in X class examination and ITI trades. Applications should be submitted along with a registration fee of Rs. 100 before 17th July 2018. For further details, interested candidates may visit the website of SCR (click here).
