Age Limit: 21 to 35 Years as on 1st January 2017. i.e. he/she must not have been born earlier than 2nd January, 1985 and not later than 1st January, 1996. Age relaxation shall be as per Government Rules, prescribed for the purpose.

Educational Qualification: A candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree from any University incorporated by an Act of the Central or a State Legislature in India or an Educational Institution established by an Act of Parliament or deemed to be a University under Section-3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or a Foreign University approved by the Central Government.

Eligibility: He/she must be able to read, write and speak Odia and have (a) Passed Middle School Examination with Odia as a Language subject; or (b) Passed HSC or equivalent examination with Odia as medium of examination in non-language subject; or (c) Passed in Odia as a language subject in the final examination of Class-VII from a School or Educational Institution recognized by the Government of Odisha or the Central Government; or (d) Passed a test in Odia in Middle English School Standard conducted by the School & Mass Education Department of the Government of Odisha.

Exam Fee: A candidate is required to pay a non-refundable and non-adjustable fee of ₹ 300/-(Rupees three hundred) only. This fee exempted for SC, ST of Odisha and persons with disability, whose permanent disability is more than 40%.

The last date for payment of examination fee is 16/12/2017.

Selection Process: Preliminary Examination (Objective Type-Multiple Choice Questions), Main Examination, and Personality Test or Interview.

Educational Qualifications:

(a) A Graduate Degree in Ayurveda from an University established by law or a Statutory Board / Faculty / Examining Body of Indian Medicine or its equivalent as recognised made in Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970.

(b) A Post graduate qualification in the subject / specialty concerned included in the scheduled to Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970 is also mandatory.

(c) Adequate knowledge of Sanskrit.

Exam Fee: A non-refundable and non-adjustable fee of ₹ 300/- only. Candidates belonging to SC and ST of Odisha and Person with Disability (whose permanent disability is not less than 40%) are exempted from payment of this fee.

The last date for fee payment is 08/12/2017.

Selection Process: Written Test. The written exam will be held at Cuttack. The test will be for 70% in accordance with the syllabus. The written examination shall be of two papers carrying 150 marks each with duration of one and half hour for each paper.

The questions will be of multiple choice patterns (150 questions of one mark each).
No negative marking for wrong answers.
