Demanding the categorization of SC reservation in the on going Parliament meetings, various Students Unions have decided to organize a public meeting at Osmania University on August 6 extending their support to the movement going on in Delhi.
Speaking to the media here on Thursday, the student leaders have said that they were extending their support to categorization of SC reservation stating that it was a democratic demand. They said that they will stage dharna in front of collectorates across the Telangana state on July 23 for categorization and ‘Chalo Delhi’ program will be organized at Jantar Mantar in Delhi on August 10. Intellectuals, students, democrats would participate in the Mahadharna to be held on August 10 in Delhi, they said.
MSF national president Rudravarm Lingaswamy, TVS state president Kota Srinivas, DBSA president Naliganti Sharat, PDSU president Jupal Srinivas, TVV leader Nazir, AISF leader Shanker participated in the meet while SFI, DSU, NSUI, TNSF, BC Student Union, BDSF, TSA, PDSU, MSO, ASU, CMS, SC/ST Student Unions extended their support to the movement.
