Heavy rains in Neredmet and Malkajgiri areas resulted in the nearby Bandlacheruvu tank overflowing. In some areas like East Anandbagh, Venkateshwara Nagar, Shiridinagar etc, drain water entered the houses putting the residents to lot of inconvenience.

A city bus got stuck in the overflowing knee-deep water in Nacharam. Five passengers were traveling in the bus when it got stuck in the overflowing rain water. The Municipal Corporation authorities on receipt of information rushed to the spot and pulled out the bus using a crane.
