Hyderabad: The last date to apply for Chief Minister’s Overseas Scholarship Scheme, aiming at providing higher education facility to minority students in foreign countries, is October 12.
Secretary Minority Welfare, Syed Omer Jaleel told that after the notification was issued in this connection, so far only 152 applications have been received online. He appealed the students aspiring to avail the scheme to submit their application before the last date.
Government will grant Rs. 20 lakh under the scheme and one way flight expenses will also be borne by the government. He stressed the need for publicity of the scheme as only 152 applications have been received so far.
