Hyderabad: Mr. Mohammed Mahmood Ali, Dy. CM of Telangana State distributed cars to 342 drivers under the scheme, “Own your car” launched by TS Minorities Finance Corporation. The function took place on 4th September at Haj House. Present on this occasion were Home Minister, Mr. Narasimha Reddy, MP of Hyderabad, Mr. Asaduddin Owaisi, former Minister of State, Mr. Bandaru Dattatreya, Mr. M. Dana Kishore, Secretary, Dept. of Minorities Welfare, Mr. Shahnawaz Qasim, Director, Dept. of Minorities Welfare, Mr. AK Khan, Advisor to Govt. on Minority Affairs, Mr. Mohammed Saleem, Chairman of Wakf Board and others.
Addressing the gathering on this occasion, Mr. Mohammed Mahmood Ali highlighted various welfare schemes launched by TRS Govt. for the welfare of Minorities. He mentioned that for the development of Minorities in the field of education, residential schools have been established and overseas scholarships are being granted.
In order to help the poor persons belonging to Minorities, “Own your car” scheme has been launched. He congratulated the car drivers on this occasion.
Mr. Syed Akbar Husain, Chairman, TS Minorities Finance Corporation, Mr. Asaduddin Owaisi, MP of Hyderabad, Mr. Dattatreya, Mr. AK Khan also addressed the gathering and advised the car drivers to repay the loan installments regularly.
