Madikeri [Karnataka]: In Madikeri town of Karnataka, owner of the plantation locked a daily wage worker with dogs in a cage causing injuries.

According to the news published in Times of India, Hareesh (32) who previously worked in the plantation of Kishan borrowed Rs. 4000 from him. However, when he failed to repay the loan, Kishan and his friend, Madhu locked Hareesh where three pet dogs attacked him.

It is also reported that on 29th August, when Kishan and Madhu asked Hareesh to repay the loan, he replied that he had no money. Angered over the reply, they dragged him out of the shop where he was presently working, took him to plantation and locked in the cage of dogs.

Later, they left him near a community health center. For further treatment, Hareesh went to Mysuru.

Meanwhile, Dy. SP, Nagappa said that confusion prevails that whether he was locked inside the dog cage or dogs were left on him. Guilty will not be spared, he added.
