Mumbai: Bollywood actor, Kader Khan was recently awarded Padma Shri but unfortunately, he could not receive this award personally.
It may be mentioned that after prolong illness, Kader Khan passed away in Canada on 31st December 2018.
It may be recalled that he enacted in more than 200 movies. He also wrote wonderful screenplays for many movies.
Govt. of India decided to award him Padma Shri posthumously. After the announcement of the award, his son, Sarfaraz in an interview told that it would have been better had his father been alive to receive this award. He also said that if God is happy with anyone, he finds ways and means to honour the person. He said that his father got this award very late.
