Pakistan Court summons Imran Khan

Peshawar: The would be Pakistan’s PM Imran Khan was summoned by the country’s anti-graft body in connection with misusing government’s helicopters which have caused a loss of Rs 2.17 million to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa exchequer, PTI reported.

According to a media report, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has summoned 65-year-old cricketer turned Politician and Tehreek-e-Insaf party chairman on August 7 over the loss incurred to the provincial exchequer by using the government helicopters for over 72 hours, the Express Tribune reported.

Imran Khan’s party PTI has emerged out as the single largest party in the recent elections held in Pakistan that were held on July 25.
