Pakistani, Saudi channels are spreading anti-India propaganda in Kashmir under the nose of the Govt.

Srinagar: Saudi and Pakistani channels including Zakir Naik’s Peace TV which are banned in India are stoking the fire of ‘Azadi’ in Kashmir. These channels which are running via private cable networks are spreading anti-India propaganda in Kashmir.

According to the report published in TOI, the surprising fact is that these private cable networks  are not only operating under the nose of the PDP-BJP government but few government offices and buildings are subscribers to these cable services.

It is also reported that despite satellite television service providers like Tata Sky, Airtel digital TV and Dish TV, are available in Kashmir, most people subscribes to private cable as they broadcast Pakistani and Saudi channels.

Few TV channels which are broadcasting anti-India propaganda are Saudi Sunnah, Saudi Quran, Al Arabia, Paigham, Hidayat, Noor, Madani, Sehar, Karbala, Hadi, Sehar, Ary QTV , Bethat, Ahlibat, Message, Falak, Geo News, Ary News, Dawn News. These channels project terrorists of Hizbul Mujahideen, Lashkare-Taiba and others as “Martyrs”.

It is to be noted that these channels are banned in the country by Information and Broadcast Ministry. The report of operation of banned channel in Kashmir is confirmed by top government official in Kashmir.
