KARACHI: First Lady Bushra Imran, in the first interview after her marriage to Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan, the nation is fortunate to have her husband as Prime Minister.
In an interview to a media channel, HumTV, the First Lady termed her husband a “leader” and “not a politician.”
Bushra Bibi believes the only two leaders of the 21st century after Quaid-i-Azam (Muhammad Ali Jinnah), is Imran Khan followed by Turkey President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

“There is a difference between politicians and leaders,” she explained. “When God wants to change the fate of a nation, He gives them a leader instead of a politician,” she further added.
According to Bushra, the PM only has the interests of the country in mind.
“Imran will change the fate of Pakistan, he is working hard for the Pakistani nation although it takes time for these things to happen,” she said, adding that the premier offers Fajr prayer every day and says “Allah, I am only doing this for you” before heading to work.”
Speaking of her husband’s simple lifestyle, she said, “Khan Sahab is a very simple and fair person who has no greed for anything at all.”
She also revealed that she does not use social media. “My veil is my identity,” stated the first lady.
