Palestine massacre at Trump’s behest: CPI

Hyderabad: CPI general secretary S Sudhakar Reddy today condemned Israel’s merciless massacre of Palestinians.

In a statement here today, the CPI leader termed the incident as heinous. “The brutal massacre of 58 Palestinians and injuring a large number of people on May 14 by lethal force at the Gaza border was instigated by US President Donald Trump. He expressed grief over the blood bath. The Palestinians were protesting against the inauguration of the US Embassy in Jerusalem, he said.

He opined that President Donald Trump’s decision in December last to officially recognize Jerusalem as the capital of the Jewish State of Israel and to relocate the US embassy infuriated peace-loving people all over the world in general and struggling Palestinians in particular, who have been fighting against occupation by Israel for the last 70 years. The CPI leader urged the Centre to strongly condemn the massacre of Palestinians and move the UN Security Council on the issue. (NSS)
