To conduct the festival of Telangana Formation Day celebrations on a grand note, Tourism Department is going to conduct a three-day Para Motoring program at Bison Polo Grounds from June 3 to 5.
Tourism Minister A Chandulal informed this in a press conference at Secretariat here along with Secretary B Venkatesham, Culture Director M Hari Krishna, Indigo Captain Sing and Kumar. This event is famous at Bangkok and Thailand and first of its kind in the country being launched by the state government. The people can enjoy the joy ride of para motoring for five minutes at 6 am and 6 pm.
The minister said that the statehood festival is being conducted across all districts on a grand note. At Peoples Plaza a 3-D Mapping will be on display and a Clock will be erected which will depict on the history of the state present grand programs and future events. The minister called upon the people to visit the Bison Polo Grounds to enjoy the Para Motoring event through 10 para motors in morning and evening hours. The minister released a brochure to Kaleshwaram tour for public and guide will inform to the people about it.
Venkatesham said that Captain Singh an Indigo Pilot and others will take the people for a joy ride and the fees is fixed at Rs 2500. Entire state will be dipped in the state formation day event through cultural and traditional programs he said. Major offices and junctions are being spruced up for the grand gala of event through illumination by colourful lights he said. He further said that about 1000 artistes will take up a rally from Lumbini Park to Necklace Road to showcase the culture and tradition of the state.
Harikrishna said that the government released Rs 16 lakhs including Rs 2 lakh for cultural programs for grand conduct of the state formation day event in all districts. Collectors were instructed to conduct the program on a scale. Cultural programs followed by dance ballets will be conducted in the city at noted places.
