All-party leaders demand CM to lead team to Delhi & free Krishna Madiga from jail

An all-party meeting today demanded that the State government unconditionally release MRPS founder-president Manda Krishna Madiga and withdraw criminal cases filed against him. The meeting also passed a resolution to launch a movement against the government.

Alampur MLA SA Sampath Kumar and people’s organizations organized a round table on ‘Illegal arrest of Manda Krishna Madiga and Suppression on Peoples Organisations’ here. TDP leader Mothkupally Narsimhulu, BJP’s Chinta Sambamurthy, Telangana Inti Party leader Dr Cheruku Sudhakar attended the meeting.

Speaking on the occasion, Sampath has demanded that the State government release detained Dalits immediately. Faulting the Chief Minister for not inducting a Dalit MLA in his abinet, Sampath demanded that the Chief Minister induct a Madiga, a Mala and a woman candidate in his Cabinet. Stating that Vice-President M Venkaiah Naidu responded positively response on SC categorization, he demanded the Chief Minister to lead an all-party delegation to Delhi immediately.

Dr Cheruku Sudhakar alleged that Chief Minister KCR was making the police to file false cases against the MRPS activists and arrest Manda Krishna Madiga. He also slammed Health Minister C Laxma Reddy to describe “devilish” KCR as Jesus Christ.

TTDP politburo member Mothkupally Narsimhulu also spoke saying that no previous government kept Manda Krishna Madiga in jail. (NSS
