People have understood that they were cheated in 2014: Tariq Anwar

New Delhi: Today mainstream media failed to highlight the failures of government. There is pressure on mainstream media somewhere, due to which it seems to fail in raising issues like Rafale, farmers, unemployment and return of black money. In this situation, social media has a role to play, said the national leader of All India National Organisation. He was addressing a seminar organised by Watan Samachar and People’s Trust entitled, “Social Media: Challenges before society” here at Press Club of India.

Lashing out at Modi government, Tariq Anwar said, Modi government has failed to fulfil the promises made by the people. He said, that the end of Modi government is near. People have started feeling that they were cheated in 2014.

Qamer Agha, Aaj Tak editor Panini Anand, Dr Tajuddin Ansari, All India National Organisation Delhi President Abdus Sami Salmani, editor Watan samachar Mohammed Ahmed also addressed the seminar.
