Hyderabad: Former MP Lagadapati Rajagopal on Tuesday predicted that the Congress-led Peoples Front has a clear edge over the rival Telangana Rashtra Samithi. Speaking to media persons, he said that the Peoples Front could win a majority of the seats in four districts. He claimed that TRS would win more number of seats in three districts and the fight is neck to neck in two districts.
Lagadapati on the basis of a survey report predicted that in Hyderabad MIM would get more seats and the TRS, Congress and BJP would share the rest. Lagadapati is known for his near accurate predictions of the poll outcomes.
The election would be quite interesting in Telangana. Rajgopal who asserted that currently he was not associated with any political party predicted that the Congress-led front would get more seats in old Khammam, Adilabad, Nalgonda and Ranga Reddy districts, while TRS would win more number of seats in old Warangal, Nizamabad and Medak. There is a tough contest in old Mahboobnagar and Karimnagar districts.
