CHANDIGARH: A monkey was caught red-handed on camera by a mechanic slurping petrol from motorbikes at a market in Haryana’s Panipat.
As per reports, a group of bike owners after finding their fuel tanks empty decided to find out who the real culprit was and started a vigilance.
The locals were stunned to discover that the mischievous creature was the thief who is pulling fuel pipes off and drinking petrol from the tanks.
The thieving monkey addicted to drinking fuel ‘always high’ and would even refuse to eat even bananas and nuts, said Gaurav Leekha, who runs a volunteer organisation in the city.
‘The monkey was clearly addicted to the petrol. It would refuse to eat even bananas and nuts if anyone offered it.’
