Pilibhit: A minor girl was allegedly raped at gunpoint by a man at her house in Uttar Pradesh’s Pilibhit on Tuesday.
According to the FIR filed by the minor on January 14, the incident occurred in the late evening hours of January 12, when the girl was sleeping outside the verandah of her house.
The man stealthily jumped the wall of the house and sexually assaulted her. He then threatened her to not scream or report the matter to the police else she would be killed.
Later, when the minor, accompanied by her brother, went to file a report at the police station, a group of five to six men, including the accused, beat her brother up.
He has been admitted to a nearby government hospital in a critical condition.
As per the police, four people have been charged with attempt to murder and rape under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act 2012.
One of the accused has been arrested so far.
