Plan out Rythu Bandhu program, Rs.2 Cr for each district: CS

Stating that Rs 2 Crore are being offered to every district towards arrangements for distribution of Rythu Bandhu cheques and pattadar pass books from May 10, Chief Secretary, SK Joshi today directed Collectors to prepare an ideal plan for the same.

Holding a video conference from Secretariat here, Joshi said that the scheme of Rythu Bandhu is prestigious and distribution of the cheques and pattadar passbooks among the beneficiaries should be done in a smooth manner. As per the directions from Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao the scheme of Rythu Bandhu has to benefit all the farmers eligible and update the details with the CCLA he said.

SK Joshi also asked the collectors to obtain their Aadhar, digital signature and related data and give them also to the farmers with assigned lands and avoid cash problem by coordinating with the banks. He said that out 52.73 lakh pass books of 57.33 lakhs pass books were Aadhar seeded and there are some problems related to 3.30 lakh accounts which have to be fixed with aadhar and other data. As per ROFR certificates the government will provide Rs 119 cr for 2.99 lakh acres of 91,992 beneficiaries in 182 mandals in 23 districts. He also asked the revenue teams visiting the villages to carry Pahani printouts and address grievances there itself. Joshi said that they sent 54.3 lakh cheques to mandals out of 58.06 lakh cheques printed and the remaining 3.75 lakh cheques will be sent a couple of days. Joshi also asked to provide facilities like sheds, drinking water and campaign to create awareness and distribution of cheques from 7 am to 11am and 5 pm to 7 pm.
