New Delhi: The national capital woke up to a pleasant Sunday morning with moderate moist winds and the minimum temperature recorded at 27.7 degree Celsius, the season’s average.
While the average air quality of Delhi and the surrounding regions remained moderate, temperatures will remain well below 40 degrees, the Met Office said.
“There will be moderate winds throughout the day, these are easterly winds which are comparatively moist adding to overall respite,” an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official told IANS.
The humidity at 8.30 was recorded at 70 per cent.
Saturday’s maximum temperature was recorded at 38.3 degrees Celsius, two notches below the season’s average while the minimum temperature was recorded at 26.6 degree Celsius, a notch below the season’s average.
