PM Modi violates Model code of conduct

Gujarat: On Friday, after the campaign deadline for Phase 1 poll was over, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had violated Model code of conduct by asking people to vote for BJP.

The Model code of conduct prohibits candidates to call for votes after a campaign phase ends.

As per the Schedule given by the Election commission, the first phase of poll would be held on December 9 and the second phase to be held on December 14. The results would be declared on December 18.

All through his rallies, Modi targeted Congress party saying that he is a victim of foul language used by the Opposition party.

Modi said that the word ‘neech’ was used not only by Mani Shankar Aiyar but by Sonia Gandhi and other Congress leaders too. He also said that one Congress leader called him a ‘Monkey’ and other leader Jairam Ram Ramesh calling him as ‘Bhasmasur.’
