Police arrests two fraudsters for making false promise of jobs in GHMC

Hyderabad: The Police Commissioner’s Task Force, North Zone team on credible information busted a fake government job racket and nabbed two fraudsters, namely R.Rajashekar, age. 29 yrs, (B.Tech) and Ramakanth, age. 25 yrs, who were indulged in cheating the innocent unemployed youth by false promises of providing Government jobs as Jr.Assistants in GHMC Dept, Khairatabad, and collecting huge amounts from job aspirants by delivering fake and forged appointment order copies.

The police seized Rs. 1,15,000/-, two Cell phones, Bio-data forms, Fake and Forged appointment orders, Joining certificates, Verification of education proof copies -21 and other incriminating material from their possession.

On January 24, 2018, the victim B. Sai Kiran,Occ. Marketing employee lodged a complaint with Saifabad PS stating that the accused persons Rajashekar and Ramakanth approached the victim on the pretext of arranging Govt job as Jr Assistant in GHMC Department, Khairatabad and demanded three lakhs for the post and cheated an amount of Rs. 3,15,000/- as process amount from seven victims and delivered fake and forged joining order copies, verification of Education proof etc with forged signed copies as a genuine document.

After collecting the amount from the innocent candidates, the accused R.Rajashekar used to prepare the fake verification of Education proof of letterhead copies printed on the name Rajeshwari Tiwari, IAS, Secretariat, Tank Bund affixed with forged sign & Joining order copies of letters head copies on the name of Baba Fasiuddin, Deputy Mayor of GHMC affixed with forged signature, letter of Joining Certificate in Town accounts section, GHMC letterhead on the name of GHMC affixed with forged signatures which prepared in the internet Centre. The prepared letter copies sent through postal and email to the victims as a genuine process. When the victims came to know that the document which has sent by the above accused are fake and forged documents. Then the victims tried to contact the accused persons to ask about cheating and amount, but the accused persons neither contacted nor returned the money.
Based on the complaint of B.Sai Kiran & other victims the SHO, Saifabad PS registered a case against the fraudsters. Today, on a tip-off, the Commissioner’s Task Force, laid a trap and apprehended the two accused persons.

Appeal to Citizens

In this connection, the Police appealed to the citizens that “any Govt job will get through examination and purely on merit basis, do not believe any brokers and do not lose money and valuable time. If anyone comes across such instances, you may inform us to enable us to take stringent action against those deceivers”.
