Police busts narcotic drugs racket, arrests 4

Hyderabad: Special Operation Team (SOT) of Madhapur police in a joint operation with Sanatnagar Police busted a narcotic drugs racket and arrested 4 persons.

According to the report of the police, four accused namely Mohammed Aftab Alam, Imtiyaz Imam Ali, Mohammed Ali Rafat and Rafat Mehdi Ali Khan were arrested. They are from Mumbai and are relatives to each other.

Police arrested the kingpin of the gang, Rafat Mehdi Ali Khan from a hotel in Bharat Nagar and seized 30 grams drug. They also seized 16 gram cocaine, 5 gram heroin and 9 gram MDMA drug and a cash of Rs. 2 lakh.

Police stated that Rafat Mehdi Ali Khan used to get drugs from Mumbai for selling them in Hyderabad. Police also stated he came in contact with Qureshi and Shameem Alam in Mumbai. They were working in a dance bar.

SOT arrested Alam Qureshi and Shameem Alam red handed from a hotel when they were finalizing an agreement for the supply of drugs. The accused confessed that Mehdi Ali Khan is involved in this case. On getting this information, he was arrested and produced in the court.
