Ranchi: A police officer was arrested here on Wednesday while taking a bribe of Rs 7,000 from a man.
The Anti-Corruption Bureau identified the arrested officer as Arun Kumar Singh, who headed the Sukdeonagar police station in Ranchi.
He had reportedly sought a bribe of Rs 50,000 from Raj Anant Kumar but eventually settled for Rs 7,000.
