New Delhi: Are policemen getting beaten-up under Yogi Government? Is a question which needs to be answered, as of late photos are making rounds on social media showing policemen beaten up by the public? One photo shows crowd beating up policemen in Kanpur district of Uttar Pradesh while the other shows a policeman getting unconscious. In yet another photo the policeman is seen being kicked up by the mob.
ABP News conducted an investigation to know the veracity of the message and the photos which went viral. During the investigation the viral message turned to be true.
As reported by ABP news a girl was admitted here in a hospital after she fell from stairs. She was allegedly raped by a ward boy in the hospital. Though the cops arrested the ward boy, relatives wanted cops to seal the hospital as well.
Staging protest against the hospital and police, the family members of the girl and protesters jammed the NH 2. They turned violent after policemen tried to disperse them using mild force.
