Deputy leader of Congress party in Legislative Council Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy has demanded the state government to initiate action against TRS leaders who attacked Illendu Municipal commissioner Ravi Babu immediately.
Speaking to the media here on Monday, Ponguleti said that it was atrocious on the part of TRS leaders who have beaten Ravi Babu in front of his wife and kids at his residence for removing flexes. Reminding that the Municipal Minister KT Ramarao issued orders to remove flexes, he regretted that the TRS leaders were attacking the officials who implemented the orders of the minister. Asking the minister to respond on the issue, Ponguleti wondered whether beating officials was part of Bangaru Telangana process. (NSS)
