Ponnam dares KTR to come for open debate on neglect of Sircilla

Alleging that the TRS government brought dark days to Sircilla, former MP Ponnam Prabhakar today asked IT Minister KT Ramarao as to why the government was neglecting Sircilla. He also dared KTR to come for an open debate on Sircilla Textile Park development.

Speaking to the media here on Tuesday, Ponnam alleged that the Cabinet meeting held on Tuesday “caught a mouse by digging a mountain”. He also said the TRS government weakened the local bodies after it assumed power. He also asked about ‘Mana Ooru-Mana Pranalika’, ‘Grama-Jyothi’ and other schemes.

Referring to the State government plans to scrap ration shops, Ponnam demanded that Civil Supplies Minister Etela Rajender resign owning moral responsibility on the proposal. He lamented that no minister interfered when a serious policy decision like scrapping of ration shops was taken. (NSS)
