Ponnam slams KTR for promising rail line to Sircilla

Hyderabad: TPCC working president and party’s ticket aspirant from Karimnagar Assembly seat Ponnam Prabhakar on Saturday took potshots at caretaker minister K Taraka Ramarao for his promise to connect his Assembly constituency Siricilla with a railway line. He said KTR has outshone his father in telling lies to the people.

Prabhakar opined that it was not possible to connect the Siricilla town with the railway line in such a short span of time. How KTR can bring a railway line in just two years, he asked and said the people of Karimnagar district are aware of it and they will teach a lesson to the CM and his family members in the upcoming elections,” he said.

Interacting with the people of Karimnagar Assembly constituency, his native place, the Congress leader reiterated that his party would return to power with a thumping majority in the State as there was a wave of support for the grand alliance formed by them. “The people of the State are fed up with the TRS and its leaders’ autocratic and feudalistic rule. They have made up their mind to vote for the grand alliance partners. We will come to power with a massive majority with the blessings of the people of the State,” he said.
