Hyderabad: The Government of Telangana offers scholarships under Post Matric Scholarships (PMS) Scheme benefiting Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Backward Class (BC), Economically Backward Class (EBC), Minorities and Physically Challenged students in the State.
In order to ensure transparency & accountability in the sanctioning and disbursement of Post Matric Scholarships, Online System i.e. Website: http://telanganaepass.cgg.gov.in (E-PASS PORTAL) is being implemented. The system needs registration of colleges and students to enable and processing of data for sanction of Fresh & Renewal Scholarships under PMS.
The academic year 2018-19 has started for the intermediate students and the Admissions Counselling activity through various TSCETs has begun. The registration of colleges and students for the Academic year 2018-19 in E-Pass website has not yet commenced. There is a need to open the E-Pass website for online registration of colleges and students for sanction of Renewal and Fresh Post Matric Scholarships for the Academic Year 2018-19. All students who contemplate to get the benefit of Scholarships must visit the E-Pass website at http://epass.cgg.gov.in and are requested to upload their data to register in E-Pass website for sanction of fresh and renewal of scholarships.
All the regulatory authorities and college managements must ensure that all colleges & students who wish to register in E-Pass shall upload their data from July 1 to September 30 for sanction of renewal and fresh scholarships for the academic year 2018-19.
All Welfare Departments are requested to give a wide publicity on the registration process for renewal and fresh scholarships and ensure that the registration process be completed by September 30. (NSS)
