Pragathi Nivedana meeting to be a record: Nayani

Hyderabad: Home Minister Nayani Narsimha Reddy today said Pragathi Nivedana meeting at Kongarakalan on the city outskirts on September 2 will remain in the history of the country, as about 25 lakh people will be attending to it.

Speaking to the media here today, the Home Minister said the TRS will win the next Assembly elections hands down whenever they are conducted. The TRS leaders were making arrangements for the big event to be attended by party leaders, activists and people in a large numbers. The TRS Government will explain to the people about the development and welfare schemes taken up by the government in four-and-a-half years. “We have achieved positive growth in finance sector and others with a focus on welfare and development”, he remarked.

In one year, Telangana State will grow up to sell power to other States as farm sector was getting 24 hour power supply now, he said. The ruling party under the leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao was ready for the elections, Narsimha Reddy said and declined to give details to the Opposition on the biggest meeting.

On the much hyped dissolution of the Assembly and the early elections, he said the Chief Minister will take care of it. The party leaders authorized KCR to take any decision on the elections, he added. The Home Minister slammed the main Opposition Congress for making tall claims of coming to power by winning 75 Assembly seats. There is no chance for the Congress or the other parties to get more seats as the people are supporting the ruling party for welfare and development.
