Preparation in place for Tipu Sultan’s birth anniversary: Kunwar Danish Ali

New Delhi: Giving a slap on the face of communal forces, the Kumaraswamy government of Karnataka has announced to celebrate the birth anniversary of 18th century Mysore ruler, Tipu Sultan, on November 10.

It must be noted for the past 2 to 3 years RSS and BJP have run a campaign against Tipu Sultan dubbing him as traitor and attacker.

Union Minister Ananth Kumar Hegde has condemned the Karnataka government’s decision and has asked them not to invite him to the event marking the celebration.

According to Inquilab Bureau General Secretary Janata Dal Secular Kunwar Danish Ali told Karnataka government is going to celebrate the birth anniversary of Tipu Sultan on government expenditure. He said the entire opposition is from RSS and BJP who want to change the history of the country. He said, who doesn’t know that Tipu Sultan is the first freedom fighter and sacrificed his life struggling for freedom from British rule.
