President arriving on Dec. 21, CS directs officials to make all arrangements

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Secretary SK Joshi today directed the officials concerned to make better arrangements for the President Ramnath Kovind during his four-day sojourn in the city. The President is scheduled to make a four-days stay in Rashtrapathi Nilayam at Bollarum in Secunderabad from December 21 to 24.

Joshi conducted a high level review meeting at Secretariat here and asked the officials to coordinate and implement an action plan for the President stay in the state capital. Ramnath Kovind visit to the state gets importance as Telangana witnessed Assembly polls. Joshi instructed to make better arrangements for the president arrival at Hakimpet Airport on December 21 at 5 pm.

The officials have to put in place the facilities including fine-tuning roads, repairs, uninterrupted power supply, water, sanitation, welcome hoardings, traffic regulation, bandobust, security and fire tenders. “Ensure CCTVs, medical team, telephone and newspapers at Rashtrpathi Nilayam during the President’s stay. The President will attend a program in Karimanagar on Dec 22, hold At Home at the Rashtrpathi Nilayam on December 23 and will return to Delhi on December 24,” he added.
