Pune: In a disgusting incident reported, a Pune convent school Principal along with school’s counsellor is on the run after the principal allegedly harassed the school student showing him a porn clip.
According to the reports, the 14-year-old student was shown the alleged clip and the school’s counsellor had known about this incident but asked him to remain mum about the incident fearing for her job, DC reported.
The principal and the woman counsellor both have been named in the complaint by the victim and efforts are Both the accused made by the Wanwadi Police to arrest them confirmed officials.
“The incident took place in March this year. The principal had sexually harassed the boy by showing him a porn video. The boy had complained about the incident to the lady school counsellor,” the official said.
He added that thought the counsellor knew, she asked the student to stay silent on the issue, possibly out of fear that she would lose her job if she spoke against the principal.
“The family of the boy also chose to remain silent fearing that his education will be hampered. Police got hint of the incident through its sources and approached the school,” the official said.
A case has now been registered against the school principal and the counsellor under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
