A police complaint has been filed against the principal of a convent school in Pune for allegedly showing a porn video to a 14-year-old boy.
The principal of convent school had allegedly sexually harassed the 14-year-old boy by showing him a porn video, Following which the boy had complained about the incident to the lady school counsellor.
But however, the counsellor asked the student to stay silent on the issue, possibly out of fear that she would lose her job if she stands against the principal, the official said.
“The 14-year-old victim’s family also chose to remain silent fearing that his education will be affected. However, the Pune Police got the hint of the incident through its sources and approached the school.
A case had been registered against the convent school principal and the woman counsellor under a suitable section of the Indian Penal Code and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
The Wanwadi police station official said the efforts are being made on to arrest them.
