New Delhi [India], Dec 05 (ANI): In a heartfelt gesture Priyanka Chopra thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for attending their first wedding reception in Delhi on Tuesday.
The celebrations were attended by many people but the most special guest who grabbed everyone’s attention was Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Priyanka took to her official Instagram account to post a photo featuring PM Modi with her and Nick, thanking him for attending the gala evening.

In the candid photo, Priyanka and Nick can be seen sharing a laugh with Prime Minister Modi.
Earlier in the day, Narendra Modi also shared a snap from the reception party on his official Instagram account. In the picture shared by him, all three are seen greeting each other with a namaste. He captioned the candid click as, “Congratulations @priyankachopra and @nickjonas. Wishing you a happy married life.”
After a dreamy destination wedding and some lavish ceremonies celebrated over the past few days, Priyanka and Nick hosted their grand wedding reception at the Taj Mahal Palace hotel in Delhi on Tuesday.
Prime Minister Modi congratulated the couple and gifted a rose to the couple as a token of best wishes.
The newly-weds tied the knot on December 1 and 2 in two elaborate ceremonies at Jodhpur’s Umaid Bhawan Palace. They first got hitched in a Christian wedding ceremony which was even more special as it was officiated by Nick’s father, Paul Kevin Jonas Sr. On the next day, they got married as per Hindu wedding rituals.
