Process of appointing doctors in Govt hospital has begun: Minister

Medical & Health Minister C Laxmareddy has said the process of appointing doctors in the government hospitals was under progress.

The minister told the Council that the State government would increase doctors’ posts in all the government hospitals in the State. However, cases related to appointments of some posts were pending in the court, he added. On the issue of “Amma Badi”, Laxma Reddy said the mothers have go to hospitals for taking vaccines to their kids. To help the mothers for visiting hospitals along with their kids, there were 241 “Amma Badi” vehicles which take them to hospitals free of cost. If necessary, the government would increase Amma Badi vehicles, he added. (NSS)
