Participating in the ‘meet the press’ program organized by Telangana Journalist Union (TJU) here on Friday, Kodandaram said that the Chief Minister has to answer to his poser as to where the lakhs of crores of rupees given by the centre to create employment in the state, were going. He alleged that the TRS government was not allocating funds to the NREGA scheme. Stating that their party will bury the present politics, Kodandaram ridiculed KCR saying that the latter provided police security to the sapling planted by him but the same KCR was not providing security to the crops of the farmers.

Kodandaram said that their party will unify political parties strongly in Telangana state. He revealed that they will intensify their party’s action plan in second week of September. He made it clear that their party has the strength of facing present politics. He said that already their party activated several wings to take up various activities. He alleged that the family and contractors’ rule was running the state and all systems were destroyed due to the personal supervision of Chief Minister alone.

He informed that his party was seeking the support of all national leaders and hence he was meeting them to get their support to the fight against KCR. He said that their party activities will be continued on unemployment issue. The party will organize ‘Maha Rasta Roko’ in September demanding the state government for cleansing of land records, he said.

Alleging that the government was wasting the public money in the name of Kaleswaram project re-design, Kodandaram said that the government was doing all this to benefit the contractors and leaders. One can understand the government failure that the pensioners were not getting pensions for the last three months. The government would have saved Rs.40,000 crore if it constructed the project at Thummidihatti across the river Godavari, he opined. Alleging that the big wigs role was there behind the Miyapur land mafia and so that the government kept the case aside, Kodandaram said that they will provide beneficial price to the crops of the farmers if TJS comes to power while implementing Comprehensive Agriculture Policy.

He said that they will order comprehensive judicial inquiry into the misuse of funds in Kaleswaram project in case TJS comes to power. TJS will also implement the suggestions of Sudhir Commission report on Muslim Minorities. The TJS will contest all the constituencies and it will not enter into any alliance with any political party. “TJS is not a tail or head to any political party”, he exhorted.

He opined that it was not correct on the part of TRS student wing to say that it will obstruct the AICC Chief Rahul Gandhi’s visit to Osmania University. Condemning the TRS leaders’ attitude in this regard, Kodandaram said that even TRS leaders too has the right to visit Osmania University. “TJS policy is that freedom must be given to all to conduct meetings. The government is afraid of Kodandaram and so it arrested me several times. He found fault with the TRS government for failing to make the centre to divide the High Court and the division of employees. The government has also failed to construct the Steel Factory at Bayyaram. (NSS)
