Provide better health services at tribal, agency areas: Chandulal

Tribal Welfare Minister Ajmira Chandulal today directed the officials to provide extended health services at tribal hamlets and agency areas with all facilities, medicines, experts and staff.

Conducting a Tele-conference at his chambers in the Secretariat here, Chandulal warned of serious measures against the Health staff for any dereliction and negligence. He directed the officials to provide 24 hour health services at tribal and other hamlets and also by setting up special health camps on the premises of private hospitals under Arogyasri scheme and shift the specialists from other areas to the vulnerable places of diseases.

The minister said the government was ready to spend adequate funds to prevent the spread of seasonal and contagious diseases like Malaria, Dengue and others. “The officials should press in special officers to every mandal, use 104 vehicles, create awareness among people and students at schools, residential institutions and hostels on the possible spread of the viral diseases”, the minister said and asked the officials to make use of Tribal Sub-Plan funds for extending proper health and medical services at tribal and agency areas.
