Dehradun: On February 18, four army men, including Major Vibhuti Shankar Dhaundiyal, were killed in an encounter with the masterminds of the Pulwama attack.
In the encounter, three JeM terrorists were killed. Unfortunately, four brave soldiers also lost their lives.
On Tuesday, thousands of people paid last respects to the Martyr Major Vibhuti Shankar Dhoundiyal.
Nitika Kaul, wife of Major Dhoundiyal saluted him. In the heartbreaking video which went viral, she can be heard saying “I Love You” to his husband. She also saluted the brave soldier.
According to the report published in Financial Express, Major Dhoundiyal had married Nitika less than a year ago.
In 100 hours, Pulwama avenged: Army
The Indian Army on Tuesday said that all the top leadership of the Jaish-e-Muhammad (JeM) outfit have been eliminated by security forces in the Kashmir Valley within 100 hours of the terror attack in which 40 CRPF troopers were killed.
Addressing a joint press conference with the state police and the Central Reserve Police Force at the Badamibagh Cantonment Headquarters of army’s 15 corps, Lieutenant General, K.J.S. Dhillion, commander of the Chinar Corps said: “In less than 100 hours of the terror attack in Pulwama we have eliminated the top leadership of the JeM that was being directly handled by the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) and the Pakistan Army.
