Pune: A speeding SUV rammed into a roadside eatery killing a 60-year-old man in Pune’s Sangvi Chowk yesterday afternoon.
The accident was caught on CCTV which shows a speeding car on the main road rammed straight into the roadside eatery in the blink of an eye around 1 pm in the afternoon.

The 60-year-old elderly man identified as Omprakash Pandinwar who killed in the accident as the owner of the eatery, while his wife, a customer and the car’s driver were also injured in the mishap.
Police Officer reporting on the case said: “We have found CCTV footage of the mishap in which it is clearly seen that the driver lost his control over the vehicle after it hit a speed-braker. The vehicle swerved and rammed into the hotel with very high speed.”
“The driver of the SUV also sustained injuries and lost his consciousness,” the police officer said to PTI.
The Police is yet to ascertain the identity of the driver and the owner of the SUV.
