PVNR Expressway to remain closed from April 22

Hyderabad: The traffic police has imposed traffic restrictions on the PVNR Expressway from April 22 onwards. As a result, the passengers travelling between the city and the airport will have to use alternate routes.

As reported by Hans India, the work of blacktopping of the entire expressway will be undertaken, while removing the existing BT. Hence the PVNR Expressway entry points at Aramghar (Agriculture College Gate) and Shivarampally Up Ramp will be closed from April 22 till completion of the work. However, the traffic moving towards Aramghar, Shamsabad, RGIA (Rajiv Gandhi International Airport) can use the Expressway from Hyderabad city as usual.

According to a traffic advisory issued for the convenience of the general public, the commuters coming from RGI Airport, Shamsabad may proceed towards Hyderabad city under the Expressway via Aramghar-Shivarampally-PDP X Road-Upparpally-Hyderguda-Attapur-Rethibowli-Mehdipatnam. While the commuters coming from Chandrayangutta and Zoo Park Road (Bahadurpura), Shivarampally may proceed towards Mehdipatnam, Hyderabad city under the PVNR Expressway via Shivarpally-PDP X Road-Upparpally-Hyderguda-Attapur-Rethibowli-Mehdipatnam.
