Setting up of Solar Power Plants in the purview of the Center and hence there was no possibility of implementing reservation in them, Minister for Energy G Jagdish Reddy, made it clear today.
Replying to a question by Rajeswar Rao and Ramulu Naik in the Legislative Council, the Minister said that Telangana stood as Number one State in the country in solar power production. He said the credit for implementing reservation in all the State Government projects went to Chief Minister KCR. He said Telangana produced 3046.68 Mg power through 1617 solar power centres and stood in top position of the States in the country.(NSS)
