Hyderabad: AICC has shifted its focus on Telangana State as general elections are fast approaching in the country. The national leaders of the party are planning to launch its election campaigning in the districts.
They are planning to hold a massive public meeting with the party president Rahul Gandhi in the State. It may be noted here that Rahul Gandhi had campaigned widely in the State in the recent Assembly elections. The State party leaders are now planning to hold the meeting of the party president in the State next week. They are mulling over to hold the public meeting on March 9. The meeting is likely to be held at Chevella. The idea of the State party leaders was to win as many seats as possible. The State has 17 MP seats. The party is targeting to win at least 10 MP seats.
